Checked: The Room Pocket, id 573156739, Fireproof Studios Limited. Result: second by lookup average, with a free-to-try sentence in the description and a version date in 2020.
Price words versus a price number
formattedPrice was Gratis and the numeric price was 0. The English description then says the app is free to try: the first level can be played, and a one-off fee unlocks the rest. The lookup did not print the amount of that fee. I am not inventing a euro figure for the unlock.
That combination is why the tag says free to try rather than simply free. A reader who only sees Gratis would miss the sentence in the description. The sentence is part of the card I checked.
Age, language, and the old version date
Content rating is 9+. The advisory on the Dutch card is occasional or mild horror or fear themes. languageCodesISO2A contained a single code, EN. I did not assume a Dutch interface.
Version 1.0.5. currentVersionReleaseDate is 10 December 2020. The original release date is 13 December 2012. Minimum OS is 9.0, the oldest floor on this sheet. Size is 429,169,664 bytes, about 409.2 MB. The lookup returned no iPad screenshot list.
Stars against a small sample
The raw average is 4.6313 from 377 ratings. Rounded to one decimal that is 4.6, the same rounded star Brotato shows. The sort uses the raw number, so The Room Pocket is NO. 2 and Brotato is NO. 3. 377 ratings is a smaller sample than Minecraft and a larger sample than Brotato’s 108.
Seller and artist are both Fireproof Studios Limited. Bundle id com.FireproofStudios.TheRoomiPhone. Genre label is Games. The description’s opening is a letter, not a feature list, so I do not turn it into a control scheme.
Which still was kept
The first screenshot is a promotional frame with a BAFTA line and an Editors’ Choice mark. I did not use that frame as the card still. The fourth screenshot shows the puzzle mechanism, a dial with numerals, and a caption about hidden clues. That file is the preview. The caption is part of Apple’s image. It stays.
No install counter exists to report. The page says so on the ranking card. Where it stands: NO. 2 until a new Netherlands lookup changes the average or the sample.
The fee sentence, stated again
Added after the diary so the free-to-try sentence is not the only place the fee is mentioned.
The description says a one-off fee. It does not say the fee is a subscription. I will not upgrade that sentence into a subscription claim, and I will not downgrade it into “completely free”.
English is the only language code. A Dutch reader of this capstan should expect the store text I received to be English for the story portion, which it was, while the advisory strings were Dutch.
No iPad screenshot array was returned. I do not invent an iPad layout. The still is a phone screenshot that Apple’s image service delivered in a wide frame.
Version 1.0.5 dated 10 December 2020 is old beside cards updated in September 2026. Old is not a defect score. It is a date. The protocol does not demote a card for age.
377 ratings sit between Brotato’s 108 and Mini Motorways’ 218. The average, not that middle position, is why the card is NO. 2.
The size, 429,169,664 bytes, is the third-largest package on the sheet and the one with the oldest OS floor. I keep those facts beside the version date so nobody reads “updated in 2020” as “small download”. The download is still about 409.2 MB. I also left the BAFTA frame off the card, so a later editor does not swap the dial still for the prize banner.
